1. To begin your online safari booking, go to the website ranthamboretigerreserve.in. Take a moment to read the information given on the website. You can find various information related to the park, its zones, safari gates, best time to visit, etc.

2. Next, navigate to the Safari Booking section of the website. This is clearly visible on the top menu. On the booking page, you’ll see a form asking for your basic details. Fill in the details such as:

  Safari Mode: Choose the safari that you want to book for exploring the park. You can either choose a Gypsy Safari or a Canter Safari

•  

  Safari Zone: Select the zone in Ranthambore where you want to go (Zone 1 to 7 or Zone 8 to 10). You cannot choose a particular zone as the forest department allocates it.

•  

  Preferred Time Slot: either a morning safari or an afternoon safari as per your preference.

•  

  Your Name: Enter your full name as per your government-issued ID.

•  

  Mobile Number: A valid number where you can receive calls, updates, and confirmation messages.

•  

  Email Address: Enter an active email where the confirmation and receipt will be sent.

Make sure all the information you provide is accurate. If your ID does not match the details, then the safari can be cancelled on the spot.

After filling in this section, click on “Next” or “Proceed” to go to the next page.

3. Fill out the Second Form that will appear on the page. Once the next page opens, you’ll see a more detailed form asking for your personal and travel information. This is important because it helps forest authorities maintain security and proper records.

4. On that form, provide your state details and complete address. Choose your home state from the dropdown menu. Then, write your complete address, including your house number, street name, city, district, and pincode. Make sure this address matches the one on your ID proof to avoid confusion later.

5. Then fill in the details of all safari passengers. This part is very important as it covers the ID details of passengers. You need to provide the details of all passengers one by one. The details that you need you fill in are:

  Full Name (as mentioned on their ID proof)

•  

  Age

•  

  Gender (Male/Female/Other)

•  

  Nationality (Indian or Foreigner)

•  

  State (the state they are from)

•  

  ID - Select from Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or PAN Card

•  

  ID Number - Carefully enter the correct ID number from the selected ID

Make sure all the information you provide is accurate. If your ID does not match the details, then the safari can be cancelled on the spot.

6. After that, you need to upload the image of your ID proof. Just make sure that the image will be clear enough to be visible and readable. It should be under the size and in a .jpg, .png, or .pdf format. You have to upload the IDs of passengers separately, one by one.

7. Before you proceed to payment, make sure to carefully read the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation/Refund Policy. This information will include all the rules and requirements for cancellations and charges, etc. Read these before making the payment.

8. After reading all the essentials, tick the checkbox that says something like “I agree to the terms and conditions and cancellation policy.” Without checking the box, your booking will not move further.

9. After submitting all the required information, the website will calculate the total amount to be paid. This amount depends on:

  Safari type (Gypsy or Canter)

  Safari zone and time slot

  Vehicle and guide fees

10. After you click on “make payment,” a pop-up or new page will appear for online payment. You can pay using various methods like:

  UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)

  Net Banking

Complete the payment and wait for the confirmation message or email. Your safari permit will either be emailed to you or available for download from the site.
