Always try to make your gypsy safari bookings in advance because this park attracts a lot of tourists, and safari slots get booked easily. It is advised for every tourist to make their safari booking 60-90 days in advance so that they can avoid future disappointments of not getting a safari.

Whenever you make a booking, choose the zone wisely. After the booking is done, zones or details cannot be changed, so make your decision only after knowing about that particular zone. Zones from 1 to 7 offer higher chances of animal sightings than zones 8 to 10.

Two safaris are available in this park - morning and evening gypsy safari. You have to make a booking for both separately, if you wanna go two times in a day.

Every tourist is required to show their original ID proof when they go to the park for the safari ride. Keep a printout of your ID proof (the same that you used for booking) or keep the original with you when you go to the park. Without the ID proof, entry will not be given.

Safari permit charges are non-refundable in all cases. If you don’t show up on time for the safari or you want to cancel it, no refund will be given. Plan properly for your safari so that the money won’t get wasted.

Like if you’re doing a safari in zone 2, then you have to come at the Sherpur Gate, and for 7, come at the Chidikho Gate. Also, it is important to reach the gate 30–45 minutes before the safari time so that there won’t be delays in the gyps safari times. IDs are checked, gypsies and guides are allotted at the gates, and this process takes time, so reaching early is essential.

You can book the canter safari from the ranthamboretigerreserve.In You can also book them from the gates. But sometimes the Canter safari can be unavailable when you go there, so making an advance online booking is advised for every tourist.

Just like the gypsy safari, you can choose from zones 1 to 7 for canter and 8 to 10. The particular zone is allotted by the government as per the availability of the Canter safari in the zone. You cannot choose a particular zone for your canter safari ride inside the park.
