Cancellation & Refund Policy
M/s. JUNGLE SAFARI INDIA, a recognized Safari Tour Operator by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, follows a transparent yet strict cancellation policy. As the operator of ranthamboretigerreserve.in, we facilitate bookings in accordance with the regulations set by the Forest Department.
1. Safari Booking Cancellation (Gypsy/Canter)
All wildlife safari permits for Ranthambore National Park are issued by the Forest Department, Government of Rajasthan. Once a permit is confirmed, the following rules apply:

Strictly Non-Refundable: Confirmed safari permits (both Gypsy and Canter) are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.

No Rescheduling: Requests for rescheduling of safari dates or time slots will not be entertained once the permit is processed.

Incorrect Information: If a booking is rejected by park authorities due to incorrect ID details provided by the user, no refund will be issued.
2. Special Monsoon Cancellation Policy
In the event that the park or specific safari zones are closed by the Forest Department due to heavy rainfall, the following refund structure applies:

Gypsy Bookings: 75% refund of the booking amount.

Canter Bookings: 65% refund of the booking amount.
Important Note:
If your official permit has already been generated/issued by the forest department before the closure, no refund can be processed as the government fee is already forfeited.
3. Current & Tatkal Bookings

Non-Confirmation: If a "Current Booking" request is not confirmed due to non-availability or technical reasons, a 100% refund will be issued to the customer’s original payment method.

Confirmed Current Bookings: Once confirmed, these follow the standard "Non-Refundable" policy mentioned in Section 1.
4. Tour Package & Hotel Cancellation
For customized tour packages and hotel reservations handled by Jungle Safari India, the following cancellation charges apply based on the date of written intimation:

Note: Peak season bookings (Holi, Diwali, Christmas & New Year) may have separate, stricter policies which will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Refund Process

Mode of Refund: All eligible refunds will be processed via the same payment method (UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking) originally used by the customer.

Timeline: Refunds typically take 7-10 working days to reflect in your account, depending on bank processing times.
6. Liabilities & Limitations

Government Authority: All reservations are provisional and subject to modification/cancellation by the Field Director, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, without prior notice. As a private facilitator, Jungle Safari India is not liable for refunds resulting from such administrative decisions.

Fee Revisions: If the government revises permit fees or taxes after a booking is finalized, visitors are liable to pay the difference. Failure to do so will result in booking cancellation without a refund.
